Dr. Cobble and his team offer a wide variety of dental solutions to keep your smile beautiful and healthy. We provide excellent restorative, preventative and cosmetic dentistry in a comfortable and professional environment. In addition to the services listed on the left, we also offer the following:

Porcelain veneers are the most conservative esthetic restorations available in dentistry today. A thin layer of the front of the tooth is removed to allow a veneer of porcelain to be bonded to the tooth without making it any thicker. Similar, in a way, to a false fingernail, the veneer covers dark or yellow teeth, fills unsightly gaps, lengthens short or stubby teeth, straightens crooked teeth and, in general, creates a more attractive smile. Unlike a false fingernail, veneers are more permanent. The veneers are attached to the teeth using the most advanced methods of bonding principles.

Full Mouth rehabilitation involves restoring the teeth, bite and muscles back to a natural-looking and youthful-feeling condition, thereby improving self-esteem.
Using computerized technology and an artistic eye, full mouth restoration may be the answer to many problems such as heat-sensitive teeth, sore jaw muscles and recurring headaches.
Tooth shaping involves removing a small amount (generally 1 to 2 millimeters) of the enamel of the teeth. Tooth shaping can shorten long teeth, round off pointed teeth, and help create a pleasing smile that gently follows the contour of the lower lip. The procedure is quick and painless (the enamel has no nerves), and is usually completed in less than 30 minutes. A small minority of patients gets slight sensitivity after tooth shaping. This can be remedied with prescription strength fluoride or in-office desensitizers. The procedure does not appear to cause any long-term damage to the teeth.

Conservative treatments like tooth colored fillings are preventing the side effects of toothaches and broken teeth. Intercepting the potential of fracture before experiencing symptoms of hot/cold sensitivity and biting pain makes it possible to preserve the healthy, remaining tooth structure. By using a proactive rather than reactive approach to amalgam replacement many of our patients are happy to report having had such a superior experience by eliminating unnecessary pain.
The most common crown restoration placed by general dentists today utilizes a metal lining covered with porcelain. These types of restorations are not as natural in appearance because light is not able to pass through porcelain-metal crowns as it does with a natural tooth, resulting in an opaque or flat-looking tooth. Often these types of traditional crowns leave a dark or gray line next to the gumline. Dr. Jan Cobble is proud to offer a natural-looking alternative, all-ceramic non-metal crowns! With these newer restorations you will notice the "life-like" appearance that mimics natural teeth and does not produce the black gumline so common with so many porcelain-metal crowns.
Onlays and inlays make it possible to replace old unsightly silver fillings with beautiful tooth colored restorations, designed perfectly to match your natural teeth. With onlay or inlay technology we can create porcelain restorations that revive your natural strength, wear, function, and appearance. With these new materials, it is possible to bond teeth back together, virtually restoring them back to their virgin strength without invasive techniques.
